Frankie Conner played two of my latest recordings, ” Going Back” originally by Dusty Springfield and “This is my Life” originally by Shirley Bassey. Got some great feedback off people phoning in from Manchester, Birmingham, Upton and all over Merseyside.
Thank you all, it means so much.
Many of you know the story, I lost my Grandpa through lung Cancer last year and since then I’ve been on the trail of raising funds for Cancer Research UK. I managed with help to put a variety show together last year and since then Cancer Research UK has made a group of us their official fund raisers for the Wirral.
We have several fund raising events planned and lots of brilliant talent. We’re bound to be doing one near you, so hope to see you there…..
Our next one is at Broughton Tescos’ which is on the new retail park in Broughton, just off the motorway junction. Saturday 4th June 2011.
