I’ve always loved singing older songs, Doris Day and the Andrew Sisters being a particular favourite of mine, I’ve taken the plunge and decided to go full force into the War Time theme. I’ve always done tunes from the 40’s through to modern and decided to concentrate on them. I’ve always got brilliant feedback when I’ve done local 40’s nights and events, well we put the emails out and the response has been fantastic, bookings are coming from all over the country, so watch out I may be at a town near you soon. Many of you know the story, I lost my Grandpa through lung Cancer last year and since then I’ve been on the trail of raising funds for Cancer Research UK. I managed with help to put a variety show together last year and since then Cancer Research UK has made a group of us their official fund raisers for the Wirral.
We have several fund raising events planned and lots of brilliant talent. We’re bound to be doing one near you, so hope to see you there…..
Our next one is at Broughton Tescos’ which is on the new retail park in Broughton, just off the motorway junction. Saturday 4th June 2011.
